My cat is afraid of me after bringing him to the vet
@user19199 I'm so glad to hear that things were better a few hours later. I had a rescue rabbit that avoided me for about half a day after his first vet visit. The stress of traveling and going to the vet can cause that for a lot of different animals. Typically they are back to themselves a few hours later or the next day. If they start refusing to eat for a long period of time than that would be a thing to watch out for/call the vet about.

If I have both a cat and a rabbit, can they (or should they) share a litter box?
I agree that seperate boxes are best for the reasons mentioned above. When it comes to the best litter for a rabbit litter box I recommend using either newspapers or the paper bedding litter that they sell in pet stores. The reason is you'll be able to know if your rabbit is healthy by seeing the urine color and if their are calcium deposits on the paper when you change the box. youtube.com/watch?v=Oc51RrXXrmc This video is a great walk through on litter materials for rabbits.

How fast do rabbits really breed?
I've worked with animal rescue groups and rabbits can breed very quickly after giving birth. From what I understand in as little as six hours after giving birth. Several years ago we had a pair of rabbits surrendered to the local shelter and were told they were both female, but sure enough the one had a litter before they were seperated. This happened overnight so she could not be spayed for a month in case they had reproduced again overnight and sure enough she had a second litter 28 days later.
