I noticed this sac on my cat's tail while petting him.

It doesn't cause pain, since I tried pressing on it and it didn't hurt him.

It appears to be fatty and it has a very thin red vein as shown in the pictures.

Please help. I don't know what it is and how to help him. And I am unable to visit the vet currently.

  • It might be lipoma or some other benign tumour. The photos you have taken are very clear. It might be faster to have support from a qualified vet on twitter or instagram with those photos. Also, the vet's response will be about the expected urgency to visit a vet. In case a vet here reads this, please include relevant details, like your cat's age, breed if he has one, weight etc. Old cats, some purebreeds and overweight cats can be more prone to cancer. – C.Koca Sep 5 '20 at 23:03
