My cat started showing signs of lameness/injury/paralysis in hind legs, in the hip area. initially vets thought it was neurological, i think its spinal or bone injury. after weeks of vet visits and waiting for the specialist i was finally advised to put her in cage rest for 5-6 weeks - but this was six weeks after we first noticed the problem. i fear this is too late for any chance of recovery.... what do you think her chances are liked ? we haven’t proceeded with scans or xray yet, as this would be the likely treatment anyway, but will do that if no improvement after the cage rest.

  • Hi there Pookie, I've voted to close as it's unclear what you're asking. We are unable to diagnose your cat online and you have already received a professional advice from your vet. If you feel you can add more clarity to the question I'd be happy to answer. – SimplyRedAppaloosa Mar 3 at 16:34
