My friend has recently acquired a snapping turtle no smaller than a couple inches and we are wondering what we can feed it. Since it is so small we figured that we should be careful with what we feed it.

We believe a tank with room temperature water and some land for it to walk on would be a good habitat for the turtle to live. Can someone verify that for me as well?
