May 9, 2021 at 7:53 comment added user40385 I would guess the question comes from a general understanding that pyometra and unspayed pets are somehow correlated, add in some general knowledge (most ferals breed and do not appear to get pyometra) and you likely get confusion. Basically, the two are only affected by the presence of the uterus (which is usually mostly removed during spay).
